Dear Friend of CHARIAD:
Those of us who know and love Herb would never believe he is anywhere near 80. Either Shayna, Herb’s long suffering wife, is looking for an excuse for a party or the birthday count is real.
Herb and Shayna are hosting a party/reception next Sunday afternoon/evening to celebrate the birthday and the wonderful friend that Herb has been to so many people.
Please come and share a fun time with Herb and Shayna.
While I am sending this note out to the Friends of CHARIAD, we are really hoping that only the folks who have gotten to know Herb over the years will come for the celebration. Please come if that is you. If not, hold off until the next CHARIAD event when “more the merrier” is the rule.

Activities
If the weather cooperates, in and on the water activities will be in play. Bring suit and towel for those options.
Come celebrate the enormous contributions Herb has made to our lives. He has been one of the reasons CHARIAD has been able to get in the water season after season and give so many of us the fun times on the water. I have a 100 year old clock the I never saw working in my parent’s home. Herb got it working and it now dongs by the hour in my home. Did I mention the damn Morgan cars that Herb rebuilds in his garage.
Herb is a teller of countless funny stories. I know you will hear more of them on Sunday. Did I tell you that Herb like the Canadian mounted police?
Your being at the Loeffler Lakefront Villa on Sunday will make the celebration complete.
