Dear Friend of CHARIAD:

We had our last real race of the season on Sunday. We won, but I have some sadness for the passing of the season.

Potluck Pursuit Race at the Boston Yacht Club, Marblehead, MA

This coming Saturday, the Eastern YC is sponsoring a fun race with a party afterwards. Here is what they say.

Pursuit racing is simple and fun. Boats start in reverse order according to their ratings with slowest boats starting first. The first boat around the course wins. Come have FUN! First time and experienced racers are all welcome. Free food and cash bar at the club.

We may have room for a couple folks who do not sail regularly on the crew. Let me know if you could come on Saturday.

Call for New CHARIAD Crew Members

If you know someone who might want to join the crew next season this will be the time to introduce them to the boat and the crew.

Let me know if you can come out. Saturday will be a fun fall day on the water.

We had a wonderful party last Saturday night. Great to see those of you who came. Big thanks to Richard Sides for hosting the gathering.
